INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE

SIMPLE MAINTENANCE

Outdoor sculptures need to be waxed three to five times a year and indoor sculptures about once a year.

Clean your sculpture with water, use mild soap if necessary. Allow to dry.

Use paste wax with a bristle brush.

Apply a light coat of wax.

Allow a few minutes to dry then buff with a soft cloth.

MAINTENANCE

Your sculpture is made of bronze, mostly copper, and as any new penny, it changes in the elements. All things change outdoors, but we can assist the bronze by keeping a light coat of wax on the sculpture. You can use Johnson"s Paste Wax and a stiff brush to apply the wax. Allow the wax to dry for about fifteen minutes and then buff using a brush or soft cloth. Warm days work best to protect your sculpture. Applying three to five times a year will do the job.

Please call me if I can assist you with your sculpture in any way at (512)589-6717 (cell).
